Every day in parks, gyms, and tracks all over the world, Achilles International provides athletes with disabilities a training community of support, and the gains they make both physically and in their self-confidence often transfers to other parts of their life. In 2004, Achilles launched the Freedom Team of Wounded Veterans, a program specially adapted to the specific needs of wounded members of the U.S. military.
